Job Description- Technical Expert- Pigs Aqgromalin is a tech-driven farm diversification platform enabling farmers to diversify into Animal Husbandry and Aquaculture. We work both upstream and downstream of the farm gate through a full-stack tech solution. Farmers can order high-quality inputs via our app AQAI and get them delivered to their farm gate. Post-harvest, our downstream trading platform enables farmers to exit the products through our network of traders, retailers (butcher shops and fish stalls), and exporters. We aim to organise the world's protein supply while enabling farmers to diversify their income sources. We are looking for 

Designation: Technical Expert- Pigs. Location: Darbhanga, Bihar. Salary Range: 8-10 lakhs per annum (negotiable). 


The technical expert should: Have a thorough understanding of the lifecycle of the animal from brooding to commercialization. Drive pilá»™t projects/expérimental research at farms. • Set up protocols for the management of the herd across the pig value chain, Engage with industry experts /ecosystem & identify value chain opportunities • Engage with the farmers about sustainable aquaculture practices and encourage them to adopt the pigs. Undertake breeding & herd management. Identify various channels for Commercialization and guide the internal teams in executing the same, 


Qualification & Experience: Preferably a Masters or PhD in Pigs Management/Animal Husbandry/ Zoology or related domain. Fresher PhD candidates can apply. Prior work experience in the pig value chain would be preferred.
