Ideal Candidate for this position * :
Liaise between the internal and Buyer team to ensure that trade fulfilment.
Identifying and Work with livestock farms, engaging with the farmers and help in sourcing of
required livestock animals mainly Sheep and Goat. Build relationship with Farmers and
aggregators.
Execute local sourcing plans and evaluate market conditions.
Negotiate with Farmers and aggregators for quantity, price, and deliver as expected by
Buyers.
Should be able to spot trends and develop solutions proactively.
Ability to understand operations and be able to identify and improve important metrices
(cost, quantity)
Experience in a sourcing set-up in Livestock Processing organisation, Deep understanding of
the product and willingness to learn.
Preference to members with education in Science/Diploma or Degree in Poultry Production;
supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or similar field but not
mandatory.
Ensuring all livestock is purchased to the forecasted requirement
Minimum 2 years of experience in Livestock ecosystem having exposure across to wide
array of trading of livestock, revenue collections and setting up market models
around govt. & private trade.
Adequate connect amongst the trade participants who deal in livestock value chain
(Breeders/Aggregators/Retailers/Meat processors
Able to penetrate in Rural districts of Karnataka for trade execution of livestock mainly sheep
and goat.
Able to co-ordinate with Government Departments
Knowledge of local language mandatory.
Willingness to travel extensively in the area allotted/throughout the state.
Job Responsibilities* :

Interact with Farmers and for trade conclusion
Skills Required* :
1. Proficiency in written and spoken English & State language with a presentable personality to
represent the organization at state level.
2. Exposure to technology and effective usage of the same in terms of web / app and tools.
3. Ability to prepare presentations using Microsoft Office Suite
4. Ownership for assigned responsibilities and organization frameworks
